Buschwhacking

We originally took off from where we parked to the north and ended up bushwhacking to the meadow. The primary reason for this was because we didn't notice NF-100 turning right just before we parked and then we used our GPS to head stright toward a cache that was in the meadow. Our tracks on our front screen of Padernal show our return, not our ascent or you would see our deviation.

This picture was taken within the bush looking back down toward the direction we parked and across the valley toward Rim Vista.

This next picture was an encounter with a horned lizzard that was not concerned with us at all.
